Social media is a rabbit hole. It’s too easy to get sucked into a loop of entertaining videos, end up 52 weeks into someone’s Instagram posts, and spend hours scrolling through home design ideas on Pinterest. BUT it’s also one of the most powerful tools business owners have at their fingertips, literally.
So… that title sounds a little rough. But sometimes tough love is what we need to pull ourselves together and stare our blockades in the face. Many, if not most, of the problems we face in business, personal relationships, or even during unpleasant encounters with strangers are due to a breakdown in communication.
Think positive! Stay positive! How often have you heard those words or even said them yourself? All of us probably have, because positivity is a big precursor to success or overcoming a challenge. However, remaining upbeat when everything seems to be going downhill is tough. To be honest, positivity requires daily attention and focus, but it’s something that we can learn to do and make into a habit.
As cliché as it sounds, magic does happen when you step outside of your comfort zone. Comfort zones have killed more dreams than we can EVER imagine. Hey, it makes sense. They feel safe, predictable, and nicely packaged. Nothing bad can ever happen, right?
Productivity is a balancing act between doing tasks well and in a timely manner. Remember, you aren’t being productive if you’re just rushing through tasks and the end result is lacking. The key to becoming more productive and efficient is adding in small time savers that add up.
