OWB is a Woman Owned Business
When people ask me about being a womenpreneur, my answer is always ‘if I could do it, anyone can… if they sign up for Online Women Biz!’ I am your run-of-the-mill, suburban mom of two and a few months ago literally knew nothing about running a business. What I did have was a dream and a feeling that I could bring it to life. I also had the luck of finding Online Women Biz when I did. The Foundation course took my hand and walked me through every necessary step you need to take from business idea to opening day. Most days, I feel like I need to pinch myself. I’m doing what I love, making money at it, and spending more time with my kids. If you’ve got a dream and aren’t sure where to take it, trust me, sign up and you’ll amaze yourself!
I had been running my small business for a couple of years before I started my OWB program. I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for. All I knew was that my business had stagnated and I was increasingly becoming more frustrated about why I wasn’t moving forward. To be honest, I was taking a shot in the dark, but felt like there wasn’t much to lose. 12-weeks on my own time of lessons and a promise that my business would start growing. Speaking on the other side of those 12-weeks, let me tell you, not only did I not lose anything, but I gained sooo much! Long story short, I learned how to hire the right people and put in place systems that would automate my business to the point where I didn’t have to spend every waking hour in my shop. A woman owned business is a special thing, and OWB knows the intricacies we women need to focus on in order to flourish.
A few years ago, I created a vision board and becoming a “successful business woman” was on there. At that point in my life, I was working a deadend job, in serious debt, and feeling down on myself in every way possible. Many wrong turns later, I found Online Women Biz. What attracted me to these particular programs was that they were for regular women. I didn’t have a formal education or wealth to back up my dreams, so I knew I could only depend on myself. The business skills you learn in this program speak for themselves, but the personal development I went through was my gamechanger. I finished the course motivated, excited, and with a newfound belief in myself. Today I am running a small salon that brings me joy and I have become that successful business woman I dreamed of becoming.
